Not very surprising to see such a prominent constellation to have more than one version of a story about it in Greek mythology.
In one version, Artemis was the goddess of the hunt and the moon in love with him and not doing their work, lighting the night sky. Her twin brother Apollo, seeing Orion swimming in the sea, dared his sister, who only seems to be on strike, a place where the waves. Without knowing it was Orion, Artemis shot an arrow and killed him. Later, when she heard what she did, she placed his body in the stars. Pain, explains why the moon looks so sad in the night.
It is possible that the appointment of the constellation precedes the mythology in this case. It has been suggested that Orion is named from the Akkadian Uru-anna, the light of heaven's name, then go to the Greek mythology. As such, the myth of Orion May result simply from the relative positions of the constellations around it in the sky.
In some depictions, Orion has three sections with three arms [1], two differentENT-legs, and a small power plant and the three agencies are directed to the hips. As such, as well as other features of the region under the sign of Gemini (ie the Milky Way, the desert area now than when the constellations Lynx and giraffe, and the constellations Gemini, Auriga, and Canis Major), in May this year the rise will be the myth that the cattle of Geryon, which is one of the twelve labors of Hercules.
In Finnish mythology the constellation of Orion is called Vainamoinen wrong. The term probably comes from the fact that it can be seen in the sky in early autumn, the harvest time ...
.. I know, the largest of its constellation in the night sky. I'm not even sure if it is correct.
